The objective of this service is to provide suitable background music during the wedding drinks reception prior to the wedding banquet.

The following is a description of what is included in the service.

Arrival at the hotel not later than two hours prior to the commencement of the drinks reception.

Setting up the sound system for perfect audio reception of the music to be performed. Loudness is not the order of the day but rather an unobtrusive level of sound allowing your guests to talk and mingle with friends and acquaintances in comfort.

I provide a Ketron Xd9 Professional Keyboard for drinks reception music which has excellent professional styles on board and which delivers a professional pleasant easy to listen to Sound.

If there is a well maintained and in tune grand piano at the hotel and it is your preference to have it played then that will be the case, but you must understand, hotels don’t normally keep pianos in good condition and consequently the decision as to whether the piano is played rests with me and if the instrument provided is not up to the job, then the Professional Keyboard will be used which has excellent piano samples on board.

I play continuous music from when the first guests arrive at the hotel until the hotel staff call the wedding party for the commencement of the wedding banquet.

I play all styles of music classical themes, light jazz, standard songs, easy listening, middle of the road well known familiar melodies, all played with excellence using the on board stylingof the keyboard which provides excellent accompaniment to the melodies played

Singing is not normally provided at drinks receptions however if one of the guests is a singer and wanted to sing a song or two, they will be accommodated and suitably accompanied on the keyboard, provided off course I know the songs requested.
